Trying to Escape a Fire
My wife and I were thinking about installing panic bolts on our doors. The reason why we are thinking about installing these bolts is because we worry that if there is a fire, or if there is an emergency situation we cannot find our keys we will be stuck inside of the house. So what we want to have is this panic so that if there is an emergency situation all we have to do is take a hammer break the bolt and are door unlocks. To me this is a very into this invention, and we are going to train our children on how to use it as well. Both my wife and I have survived fires, so we understand how difficult it can be to be in a fire, and try to find an exit. We want our children to understand how to use this device, so that if there is a fire they can escape safely.
